Even though I have been writing for a long time, many of the writing exercises were new to me. All of them sparked me creatively. More than this, though, I appreciated the small group setting and getting to hear both what others wrote and their thoughts and feelings about their own creative journey. The human connectedness of creativity really struck home with me through the group interactions.
